FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
  • This accessory is not compatible with satin/matte paint finishes.
CAUTION
  • If protective wax has been applied to the vehicle it must be thoroughly removed before starting this procedure.
  • The vehicle must be clean, dry and at workshop temperature. Vehicles moved into the workshop from cold or wet conditions should be dried and left to stand for a minimum of 2 hours.
NOTE
  • This procedure requires the vehicle to stand for a minimum of 24 hours after installation in a dry, temperature controlled environment.
Fitting Instruction

Before proceeding please make sure the temperature is between 10 and 40 degrees to fit this accessory.

CAUTION
  • Make sure that the spoiler extension is aligned to the rear spoiler as illustrated.
NOTE
  • Left side shown. Right side is similar.

Position the spoiler extension onto the rear spoiler.

Tape.

  1. Using suitable tape, mark around the spoiler extension install position as illustrated.
  2. Remove the spoiler extension.

Clean the illustrated area using a suitable cleaning agent fit for use on paintwork (For example panel wipe, isopropyl alcohol etc) to remove all dirt and grease.

Remove the highlighted adhesive backing from the spoiler extension.

NOTE
  • Do not fully remove the adhesive film at this stage.

Partially remove the adhesive film from the spoiler extension as illustrated.

CAUTION
  • Make sure that the rear spoiler extension is correctly located to the rear spoiler.
NOTE
  • Left side shown. Right side is similar.
  • Make sure that the adhesive film remains partially exposed for access.

Install the spoiler extension against the previously marked position and lower as illustrated.

  1. Remove and discard the adhesive film.
  2. Apply pressure to the spoiler extension on to the rear spoiler for a minimum of 20 seconds.

Remove and discard the marking tape.

CAUTION
  • The vehicle may not be driven for a minimum of 24 hours.
  • The vehicle must remain dry and at workshop temperature for a minimum of 24 hours.
