WARNING
  • Third row seats must not be used when the 'Partition' is installed. And must be kept in the stowed position.
CAUTION
  • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim.
Fitting Instruction
NOTE
  • Complete following steps on both sides of the vehicle.

Follow the following steps depending on what you are installing.

  • To install and remove the 'Loadspace Partition' see steps 2 to 22.
  • To install and remove the 'Loadspace Divider' see steps 23 to 31.

WARNING
  • Make sure to wear suitable personal protective equipment.
NOTE
  • 'ONLY' complete step if the 'Loadspace Rubber Mat - VPLES0566' is present.

Remove the 'Loadspace Rubber Mat' from the vehicle before cutting and trim the cutouts as illustrated.

  1. Trim the 2 front cutouts.
  2. Trim the 2 rear cutouts if access to the D-loop anchor points nearest the tailgate is also required.

Install the 'Loadspace Rubber Mat' into the vehicle loadspace.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'fixed' D-loop anchor points.

Remove both front D-loop anchor points.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'fixed' D-loop anchor points.

Install bracket (B) using fixing (D).

  • Torque: 24Nm

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'fixed' D-loop anchor points.

Reinstall D-loop onto the bracket (B).

  • Torque: 24Nm

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'sliding' D-loop anchor points.

Remove loadspace rail retaining fixing.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'sliding' D-loop anchor points.

Install bracket (C) using the retaining fixing (D).

  • Torque: 24Nm

NOTE
  • Not all seat variants will be able to move forward as illustrated.

Adjust the second row seats to the lowest and most forward position.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to 'Full Height Loadspace Partitions'.

Install the thumbscrew (E) to the 'Loadspace Partition' access door.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to 'Full Height Loadspace Partitions - VPLES0545'.

Install the x2 brackets (G) to the main body of the 'Loadspace Partition', using the fixings (H).

  • Torque: 15Nm

Use a suitable trim tool to open the loadspace partition mounting slot cover on both sides of the vehicle.

  1. Insert the trim tool into the cutout.
  2. Open the loadspace partition mounting slot cover.

CAUTION
  • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim.
NOTE
  • The route for installing the loadspace partition into the vehicle depends if the second row seats can move forward.

Install the loadspace partition (A) into the vehicle.

  1. If the vehicle has second row seats that will slide forward, then route the loadspace partition through the rear passenger door as illustrated.
  2. If the vehicle has second row seats that do not slide forward, then route the loadspace partition through the tailgate in the orientation as illustrated.

NOTE
  • These set of instructions are 'ONLY' for when you have routed the 'Loadspace Partition' through the rear passenger door. If you have routed it though the tailgate proceed to next step.
  • The loadspace partition pins may require side to side adjustment to locate correctly.

Install the loadspace partition pins to the mounting slots on both sides of the vehicle.

  1. Carefully raise the x2 loadspace partition pins into the larger circular slots.
  2. Move the loadspace partition pins over the tab that is part of the mounting slot bracket. Move the loadspace partition pins into the smaller circular slots.
  3. Continue at step 16.

NOTE
  • These set of instructions are 'ONLY' for when you have routed the 'Loadspace Partition' through the tailgate.
  • The loadspace partition pins may require side to side adjustment to locate correctly.

Install the 'Loadspace Partition' to one side of the vehicle only. Swing the 'Loadspace Partition' into the correct position and then install to the other side of the vehicle.

  1. Carefully raise the loadspace partition pin into the larger circular slot on one side of the vehicle.
  2. Move the loadspace partition pins over the tab that is part of the mounting slot bracket. Move the loadspace partition pins into the smaller circular slots.
  3. Swing the 'Loadspace Partition' into the correct position.
  4. Install the loadspace partition pin into the mounting slot on the other side of the vehicle.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'fixed' D-loop anchor points.

Secure the base of the 'Loadspace Partition' to the floor bracket (B) using the thumbscrew (F).

  • There is designed into the part a gap between the mounting bracket on the barrier and the floor mounting bracket (B).

  • This step 'ONLY' applies to vehicles equipped with 'sliding' D-loop anchor points.

Secure the base of the 'Loadspace Partition' to the floor bracket (C) using the thumbscrew (F).

  • There is designed into the part a gap between the mounting bracket on the barrier and the floor mounting bracket (C).

Return the second row seats to the upright position.

Inspect to make sure that the 'Loadspace Partition' is correctly installed.

NOTE
  • This step 'ONLY' applies to 'Full Height Loadspace Partitions'.

How to open the full height loadspace partition access door.

  1. Release the thumbscrew.
  2. Lower the access door.

After covering the indicated distances, inspect that all the thumbscrews remain appropriately tightened.

  • 500 km or 300 miles.
  • 1000 km or 600 miles.

CAUTION
  • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim.
NOTE
  • The loadspace partition pins may require side to side adjustment to allow removal.

To remove the 'Loadspace Partition' follow the steps.

  1. Release the thumbscrews (F) that secure the base of the 'Loadspace Partition' to the floor brackets (B) or (C).
  2. Move the loadspace partition pins out of the mounting slots on both sides of the vehicle.
  3. Protect the loadspace partition pins to make sure they do not damage the vehicle paintwork and trim.
  4. Remove the 'Loadspace Partition' from the vehicle through the rear door or the tailgate as appropriate.
  5. Close the loadspace partition mounting slot cover on both sides of the vehicle.

Prepare the 'Loadspace Divider - VPLES0547'. Install the center clamp bracket (H) to the loadspace divider (G) using x2 thumbscrews (F).

  1. Make sure the 'Loadspace Divider' center clamp bracket thumbscrews are not tightened.
  2. Make sure the feet are screwed in.

CAUTION
  • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim.

Carefully place the 'Loadspace Divider' (G) into the loadspace.

Position the 'Loadspace Divider' (G) against the 'Loadspace Partition' as illustrated.

CAUTION
  • Do not fasten the thumbscrews on the center clamp at this stage.

Make sure the top bracket and the central clamp are positioned correctly in relation to the crossbars on the 'Loadspace Partition'.

  1. Position the top bracket as illustrated.
  2. Install the center clamp to the 'Loadspace Partition' as illustrated but do not tighten at this stage.

CAUTION
  • Excessive force may damage the loadspace floor.

Use a spanner to adjust the feet so the 'Loadspace Divider' is supported.

  1. Extend the feet located at the base of the 'Loadspace Divider'.
  2. Make sure that the top bracket is correctly engaged.

Tighten the x2 thumbscrews on the center clamp to secure the 'Loadspace Divider' to the 'Loadspace Partition'.

CAUTION
  • Excessive force may damage the loadspace floor.

Excessive movement of the 'Loadspace Divider' can be removed by adjusting the feet as required using a spanner.

After covering the indicated distances, inspect that all the thumbscrews remain appropriately tightened.

  • 500 km or 300 miles.
  • 1000 km or 600 miles.

To remove the 'Loadspace Divider' follow the steps.

  1. Loosen the x2 thumbscrews on the loadspace divider center clamp.
  2. Use a spanner to adjust the loadspace divider feet so the top bracket on the 'Loadspace Divider' is released from the 'Loadspace Partition'.
  3. Release the loadspace divider center clamp and top bracket from the 'Loadspace Partition'. Remove the 'Loadspace Divider' from the vehicle.
