FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not correctly installed can be dangerous.
  • Before ordering and installing the accessory, you must read all the instructions. The correct accessory / part must be ordered for you variant of the vehicle.
  • You must follow all instructions. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.

Warnings / Cautions / Notes / Tooling and Equipment

WARNING
  • Second row seats must not be used when the 'Partition' is installed. They must be in the stowed position.
  • After covering the indicated distances, inspect that all the thumbscrews remain appropriately tightened. 500 km or 300 miles. Then every 1000 km or 600 miles thereafter.
CAUTION
  • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim when installing.
NOTE
  • Install to both sides of the vehicle. This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right side components install in a similar manner.

Fitting Instruction

Slide front seat back and remove and retain the forward front seat rail fixing.

slide front seat forward and remove and retain the rear front seat rail fixing.

Remove and retain the plastic trim from the end of the outboard seat rail. To aid removal the seat rail must be raised.

Install the bracket (C) to the outside seat rail.

Install, but do not fully tighten x2 original seat rail fixings.

Install the lower fixing plate (D) to the underside of the bracket (C).

NOTE
  • Make sure the holes on both fixing plates line up.

Place the upper fixing plate (E) on top of the lower fixing plate(D).

Fully tighten the x2 original seat rail fixings. Torque: 48Nm

NOTE
  • If not already done so repeat steps 1 to 8 on the other side of the vehicle before proceeding.

Use a suitable trim tool to open the loadspace partition mounting slot cover on both sides of the vehicle.

  1. Insert the trim tool into the cutout.
  2. Open the loadspace partition mounting slot cover.

CAUTION
  • Make sure to protect the vehicle paintwork and trim.

Lower 2nd row seats (refer to Owner's Handbook if required). Then manoeuver the upper part of the loadspace partition (A) into the vehicle as illustrated.

NOTE
  • The loadspace partition pins may require side to side adjustment to locate correctly.

Install the loadspace partition pins to the mounting slots on both sides of the vehicle.

  1. Carefully raise the x2 loadspace partition pins into the larger circular slots.
  2. Move the loadspace partition pins over the tab that is part of the mounting slot bracket. Move the loadspace partition pins into the smaller circular slots.

NOTE
  • Make sure the loadspace partition legs are in the correct orientation.

Move the loadspace partition legs (B) into the vehicle.

  • Make sure the holes in the loadspace partition legs align with the holes in the upper fixing plates (E).

Install the loadspace partition legs (B) to the upper fixing plate (E) and the lower fixing plate (D) using the thumbscrew (F).

Install the loadspace partition legs (B) to the top part of the loadspace partition (A) using the x2 thumbscrews (F).

  • Tightening the thumbscrews (F) puts the loadspace partition under tension and closes the air gap between parts A and B. Make sure there is no air gap between parts A and B when the thumbscrews are fully tightened.
