This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

NOTE

Complete step for Defender 90.

For Defender 90 only, remove the rear quarter trim panel. Ask your Jaguar Land Rover Retailer for a copy of this instruction if you do not have access to TOPIx.

NOTE

Complete step for Defender 110/130.

For Defender 110/130 only, remove the B-pillar lower trim panel. Ask your Jaguar Land Rover Retailer for a copy of this instruction if you do not have access to TOPIx.

CAUTION

Use a suitable trim tool.

Remove the front treadplate.

Release from the 11 clips.
Remove the front treadplate trim panel.

Install the personalised or illuminated front treadplates as required.

Connect the electrical connector. The connector is located underneath the treadplate 'DEFENDER' logo.
Install the 11 clips.
Install the front treadplate trim panel.

NOTE

Complete step for Defender 110/130.

For Defender 110/130 only, install the B-pillar lower trim panel. Ask your Jaguar Land Rover Retailer for a copy of this instruction if you do not have access to TOPIx.
