FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not correctly installed can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to installation. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
NOTE
  • Illustrations show a front illuminated treadplate on the left side of a left hand drive vehicle.
  • Instructions are similar for installing the front illuminated treadplate to the right side of a left hand drive vehicle except there is no hood release lever to remove.
  • Instructions are similar for installing front illuminated treadplates in a right hand drive vehicle.
NOTE
  • LR115867: Install to the right side of right hand drive (RHD) vehicles (all markets).
  • LR115875: Install to the left side of RHD vehicles (all markets except for Japan).
  • LR115886: Install to the left side of RHD vehicles (Japan market only).
  • LR115872: Install to the right side of left hand drive (LHD) vehicles (all markets).
  • LR115878: Install to the left side of LHD vehicles (all markets).
NOTE
  • The left side front illuminated treadplate (LR115886) for Japanese market vehicles has a bracket on the treadplate, as illustrated.
REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the hood release lever. For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Front Left Treadplate (501-05) For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Front Right Treadplate (501-05)

CAUTION
  • Take care to avoid damaging the wiring harness.

Remove the existing front treadplate.

  1. Lift the edge of the front treadplate as illustrated.
  2. Remove the front treadplate in the direction as illustrated.
Fitting Instruction

Make sure the 7 clips are all correctly located on the front illuminated treadplate.

Install the front illuminated treadplate.

  1. Connect the electrical connector as illustrated.

Make sure all the clips and attachment features are correctly located as illustrated.
