7

Engage the plug into the power socket on the cooler and warmer box, as illustrated.

8

Engage the plug into the 12 volts accessory socket, as illustrated.

9
CAUTION
  • Do not use abrasive or solvent based products when cleaning the cooler and warmer box. The best method of cleaning the cooler and warmer box is using a damp cloth and washing up liquid. If the cooler and warmer box is not going to be used for a long period of time it should be dried out first.
NOTE
  • The cooler and warmer box is designed to maintain the warmth in food and drink that is already warm. The purpose of the cooler and warmer box is not to warm up cold food and drinks. Keep the lid of the cooler and warmer box closed to help maintain the warmth in food and drinks.
  • In cooler mode, the best results are achieved when food and drink items placed into the cooler and warmer box are already refrigerated.
  • Avoid direct sunlight on the cooler and warmer box.

The cooler and warmer box can be used to keep food and drink items cool or warm. The cooler and warmer box has a battery monitor that prevents your primary battery from being discharged too heavily.

  1. Use the sliding switch to change between the three modes of operation: off, cooler or warmer.
  2. The operating mode is indicated by the light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the front of the cooler and warmer box. The green LED shows the cooler and warmer box is cooling and the red LED shows the cooler and warmer box is warming.
  3. Use the sliding switch to enable or disable the battery monitoring function. Because this accessory is being used within a vehicle, the battery monitoring should be left enabled.
  4. If the primary battery is at undervoltage, the red LED will flash and the cooler and warmer box will not operate. When the operating voltage is reached, the red LED will stay on and the cooler and warmer box will operate.
10
WARNING
  • Never touch uninsulated cables with bare hands.
  • Do not touch the inside of the cooler and warmer box during operation in warmer mode and for 30 minutes after use when it may still be hot. There is a risk that touching the cooler and warmer box may cause burns.
CAUTION
  • Dispose of the cooler and warmer box at an appropriate waste facility to make sure it does not harm the environment.
  • Do not obstruct the vents to the compressor on the front underside of the cooler and warmer box.
  • Do not place the cooler and warmer box in a sealed vehicle or in the luggage compartment. Do not obstruct the air flow to the fan.
  • Do not disassemble the cooler and warmer box as there are no serviceable parts inside.
  • Always use the cable provided. If the cable becomes damaged it must be replaced.
  • Keep the cooler and warmer box free from frost.
  • Do not use hard or sharp tools to remove ice from the cooler and warmer box.
  • Do not use ice or ice packs in the cooler and warmer box.
  • Do not use household chemicals to clean the unit, for example bleach.
  • Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the cooler and warmer box.
  • Children should not be left unattended in a vehicle where the cooler and warmer box has recently been in use. The surfaces of the unit may still be hot or cold and there is a risk that touching the unit may cause injury.
  • Make sure that the cooler and warmer box is disconnected from the 12 volts accessory socket before using a high speed battery charger.
