FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not properly installed can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting, and make sure this accessory is applicable to your variant of vehicle. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.

Front Mudflaps (Bill of Materials)

Warnings / Cations / Notes

CAUTION
  • If protective wax has been applied to the vehicle it must be thoroughly removed before starting this procedure.
  • The vehicle must be clean, dry and at workshop temperature. Vehicles moved into the workshop from cold or wet conditions should be dried and left to stand for a minimum of 2 hours.
NOTE
  • Left side illustrations shown. Right side similar.
  • Wheel and tire shown removed in illustrations for clarity.
Fitting Instruction
1

Remove x2 fixings to release the front wheel arch liner.

NOTE
  • If the deployable side step finisher trim is installed then this must be removed before completing this step.

Remove and discard the screw as illustrated.

Pull away wheel arch liner.

  1. Release the wheel arch liner.
  2. Remove and discard the retaining clip.

  1. Install the supplied retaining clip.
  2. Position the wheel arch liner.

WARNING
  • Make sure to wear suitable personal protective equipment.
CAUTION
  • Allow to dry for a minimum of 60 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

Using the cleaner in the supplied pack, clean the illustrated area.

CAUTION
  • Allow to dry for a minimum of 60 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

Using the adhesion promoter in the supplied pack, wipe the illustrated area.

Remove and discard the backing from the adhesive strip.

Install front mudflap.

  1. Position the mudflap against the vehicle body as illustrated.
  2. Install the supplied bolt and washer.
  3. Torque: 2Nm.

CAUTION
  • Make sure the retaining clips are installed over the mudflap and the lower trim panel.

Using a suitable tools, install the supplied retaining clips.

Install the x2 fixings removed in step (1) to secure the wheel arch liner.
