FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting. Whilst fitting, comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
NOTE
  • The Activity Key sytsem is to be used with the Activity Key Wrist Band.
Fitting Instruction

Open the tailgate.

Remove the screw.

  • Remove the tailgate handle.

Using a suitable, plastic trim tool, remove the tailgate lamps.

  • Release the electrical connectors.

Using a suitable, plastic trim tool, remove the tailgate trim.

Locate and release the wiring harness as illustrated.

Assemble the sensor bracket.

  1. Remove the backing from the foam pad and install it to the sensor.
  2. Install the sensor to the mounting bracket.

Connect the sensor assembly to the wiring harness electrical connector.

Install the sensor assembly and secure with the fixings.

Install the tailgate trim.

Install the tailgate lamps.

  • Connect the electrical connectors.

Install the tailgate handle..

  • Install the screw.
  • Torque: 2 Nm.

Close the tailgate.

Using the approved diagnostic tool, configure the Activity Key System.

To lock the vehicle using the Activity Key.

  1. Place the key fob inside the vehicle and close all the doors.
  2. Within 30 seconds hold the Activity Key against the 'D' on the tailgate as illustrated.

To unlock the vehicle using the Activity Key.

  1. Depress the tailgate switch.
  2. Within 30 seconds hold the Activity Key against the 'D' located on the tailgate as illustrated.
