FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
NOTE
  • Left Hand Drive (LHD) shown, Right Hand Drive (RHD) similar.
NOTE
  • The mobile phone wireless charger can be installed in the front or rear floor console cup holders dependent on customer choice.
  • If installing in the front please note the cup holder lid cannot be closed.
Fitting Instruction

Remove the front row seats.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Front Row Seat - Vehicles With: Power Seats (501-10)

Remove the floor console upper trim.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Floor Console Upper Trim (501-12)

NOTE
  • The following steps 3 to 8 are for installing in the front cup holder.

Release the cup holder cover catch to reveal the front cup holder.

Drill a pilot hole from the underside of the cup holder approximately 10 mm from the rearward moulding.

Using the pilot hole as reference drill a 20 mm hole.

Cut out the centre of the sticky pad.

Install the pad onto the docking station.

Install the docking station.

Secure the grommet.

NOTE
  • The following steps 9 to 15 are for installing in the rear cup holder.

Remove the cup holder. For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Floor Console Upper Trim (501-12)

CAUTION
  • Securely hold the cup holder in position when drilling.
NOTE
  • Approximately 20 mm from the bottom of the cup holder.

Drill a hole in the area illustrated with a suitable tool.

  • RHD version shown.

Position the harness in the docking station base.

Install the tape onto the docking station.

Install the docking station.

CAUTION
  • Make sure that the wiring harness does not accumulate under the docking station.

Secure the grommet.

Install the tape onto the module.

Install module 'B' on the floor console base unit in the position shown.

NOTE
  • Right hand drive version shown.

Feed harness 'A' into the floor console in the area shown.

Connect harness 'A' to harness 'A2'.

NOTE
  • Securely place the connectors and fuse on both wiring harnesses within the floor console unit making sure not to trap components.

Lower the upper floor console and connect harness 'A2' to module 'B'.

Remove the treadplate and lower A-pillar trim. For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Front Scuff Plate Trim Panel (501-05) Release carpet trim.

NOTE
  • Feed the wiring harness 'A' under the cabin breakout harness as arrowed.

Secure the wiring harness 'A' to the vehicle wiring harness and clip to the body as shown.

NOTE
  • Feed the wiring harness 'A' under the floor air duct as shown.

Tape the wiring harness securely as illustrated.

Secure the wiring harness 'A' to the main body wiring harness routing vehicle forward.

Disconnect the instrument panel wiring connector.

CAUTION
  • Securely fasten the harness 'A' to the dashboard wiring harness.

Connect the wiring harness 'A' to the instrument panel wiring connector as illustrated.

NOTE
  • Prepare for splicing by removing the foam insulation at the top of the 12v accessory socket harness.

Route the wiring harness 'A' around the rear of the floor console, locating the highlighted 12v accessory socket wiring.

NOTE
  • Splice the harness 'A' brown/yellow live wire to pin 1 wire. Splice the harness 'A' black ground wire to pin 3 wire.

Splice the wiring harness 'A' to the 12v accessory socket as shown.

Install foam tape 'D' on splices and secure harness 'A'.

Install the treadplate and lower A-pillar trim. For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Front Scuff Plate Trim Panel (501-05) Fit carpet trim.

Install the floor console upper trim. For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Floor Console Upper Trim (501-12)

Install the front row seats.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Front Row Seat - Vehicles With: Power Seats (501-10)

NOTE
  • The Mobile Phone Wireless Charger will only operate when all doors and tailgate are closed and engine is running.

Check the operation of the docking station.
