FITTING INSTRUCTION

Fitting Instruction
NOTE
  • This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Insert the towbar hitch (A).

Unlock and separate the locking pin.

Insert the locking pin (B) through the towbar and the towbar hitch (A).

Press the center section to lock the locking pin.

Place the required locking towball (D) or (E) on the towbar hitch.

Attaching the locking towball.

  1. Press the center section.
  2. Turn the towball clockwise until an audible 'clicking sound' is heard.
  3. When the center section is slightly raised, lock with a flat blade screwdriver.

Removing the locking towball.

  1. Unlock with a flat blade screwdriver. Press the center section.
  2. Turn the towball counter clockwise until an audible 'clicking sound' is heard.
  3. When the center section is raised, remove the towball.
