FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING

Accessories which are not properly installed can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to installing. When installing, comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.

WARNING

Do not exceed 130 Km/h (80mp/h).
Make sure the load is level.
Make sure the load is equally distributed and has no excessive overhang at the front or rear of the vehicle. Any overhang at the rear of the vehicle requires a warning flag.
Make sure the tailgate does not clash with the load.
Secure the load at each end.
Be aware of the increased height of the vehicle.
Do not use an automated car wash with the carrier installed.

Unlock and remove the cross bar end caps.

Slide out both of the trims from the roof bars.

Using a suitable cutting tool, cut the roof bar trims using the measurements illustrated.
Discard the smallest section of roof bar trim.

Insert the roof bar trim and the fixing 'B' into the roof bar as illustrated.
Install and lock roof bar end cap.

Lower the carrier onto the roof bar.

Install the fixings and the washers (E) and (G).

NOTE

Make sure the fixing is aligned with the lock before engaging.

Slide the lock.
Lock using the key.

Lower the carrier onto the roof bar and secure.

Follow steps 4 to 8 for the other carriers.

Fitting Aquasport Equipment.

Lift the carriers.

With assistance, load the carriers.

Secure the load with the strap (D).

Lock the strap.

Lift the cover.
Press the strap lock.
Thread the strap through the lock.
Close the cover.
Lock with the key.

Lift and slide the lock.

Release the strap.

Load the carrier.

Secure the strap.
Lock the strap.
Pull the strap tight.

Using the key, lock the carrier.
