FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING

Accessories which are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting. Whilst fitting, comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.

CAUTION

If protective wax has been applied to the vehicle it must be thoroughly removed before starting this procedure.
The vehicle must be clean, dry and at workshop temperature. Vehicles moved into the workshop from cold or wet conditions should be dried and left to stand for a minimum of 2 hours.

NOTE

This procedure requires the vehicle to stand for a minimum of 24 hours after installation in a dry, temperature controlled environment.

Apply tape to the side of the vehicle to create alignment markings to aid installation.

Clean the place of the door side rubbing strips.

Wait 5 minutes.

Visually check orientation of door side rubbing strips.

Remove the protective tape from the side door rubbing strips at the corners.

Install the side door rubbing strips.

Carefully, remove the protective tape from the side door rubbing strips.

Push the side door rubbing strips onto the vehicle as illustrated.

Remove the tape.

Allow the vehicle to stand in the dry for 24 hours.
Do not wash the vehicle for 24 hours.

NOTE

This step only applies to vehicles equipped with Wade Aid System.

Using approved Land Rover diagnostic equipment, configure the Wade Aid system.
