FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting. Whilst fitting, comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
NOTE
  • Tow Bar Wiring Harness and Module are to be fitted with the Deployable Tow Bar, VPLRT0172
Fitting Instruction

Remove the loadspace floor panel.

Remove the loadspace trims.

Remove the left Loadspace Trim Panel.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Loadspace Trim Panel LH (501-05)

Remove the rear bumper.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Rear Bumper (501-19)

Install the Tow Bar Module.

  • Torque: 5 Nm.
  • Connect the electrical harness.

Connect the electrical harness to the Tow Bar Module.

  • Secure the harness in the positions illustrated.

Install the electrical harness.

Install the electrical harness.

Secure the electrical harness as illustrated.

  • Install the electrical connector.

Install the electrical connector.

Install the rear bumper.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Rear Bumper (501-19)

Install the left Loadspace Trim Panel.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Loadspace Trim Panel LH (501-05)

  • Install the Deployable Tow Bar Switch.

Install the loadspace trims.

Install the loadspace floor panel.

Using the approved diagnostic tool, configure the Electric Deployable Tow bar.
