FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not properly fitted can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to fitting. Whilst fitting, comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
Fitting Instruction

Open the tailgate.

Remove the access panel.

Remove the access panel.

  1. Depress the top of the access panel.
  2. Pull the access panel and remove.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Specifications (414-00)

Remove the battery terminal cover.

Remove the positive and ground fixings.

CAUTION
  • Make sure the harness is connected correctly.

Install the battery charger wiring harness.

  • Connect the red wire to the positive battery terminal.
  • Connect the black wire to the ground terminal.
  • Torque: 10 Nm.

Secure the battery charger wiring harness using the cable ties as illustrated.

Connect the battery ground cable.For additional information, please refer to the official Workshop Manual. Specifications (414-00)

Using a suitable cutting tool, cut an 18 mm hole in the access cover where illustrated.

Install the battery charger socket.

  • Torque: 5 Nm.

Install the access panel.

  • Connect the electrical connector.

Install the access panel.

CAUTION
  • When in use, make sure that the Battery Conditioner cable is not located across the door latch.

Close the tail gate.
